9^th NEM General Assembly

on 9/10 February 2010 in Brussels

The 9^th General Assembly of the NEM Initiative will be held in Brussels on 9/10 February 2010.

Please reserve this date in your diary as this event will provide a significant opportunity to become actively involved in NEM activities both in terms of the ongoing NEM work and preparation for FP7 Call 6.

The 9^th General Assembly will address the following topics:

• NEM achievements to date and future NEM activities and actions

• Discussion on main NEM challenges for the next period

• Presentations of EC officers on trends and prospects for NEM related research, and in particular on Networked Media Research in FP7 Call 6

• Report on NEM position papers and membership

• Expression of interests from NEM members for creation of project consortiums for Call 6

……..and of course some time for networking.

Everyone is welcome to participate in this event by registering via the NEM website. The event registration fee is 100€ plus VAT. Please note: If you wish to submit a contribution to the FP7 discussions you must be a NEM member. Membership is free and can be obtained through the NEM website. Please note that on-site registration is not possible for the NEM General Assembly.

Deadline for registration was 5 February 2010.
