Welcome to the NEM Initiative
The European Technology Platform where New Media Content and Networks meet
The NEM Initiative aims at building sustainable European leadership in content production and networking technologies. Its objective is to promote an innovative European approach to the convergence of media and telecommunications towards a Future Media Internet that will enhance the lives of European citizens through a richer media experience.
13th NEM General Assembly
will be held in Brussels on 20 March 2012 and will include interesting topics and discussions, such as:
- Horizon 2020, FP7 Work Programme 2013, Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), Eurostars and Celtic Plus programmes
- Special session on "Digital Growth through web-based applications and services" (see Call for Contributions below),
- NEM Challenges 2012/2013, NEM Summit 2012, NEM position papers, as well as further interesting topics.
Call for Contributions from NEM members on "Digital Growth through web-based applications and services":
All NEM members are invited to provide contributions to discussion on "Digital Growth through web-based applications and services", which will be included in the General Assembly programme. As first step, the NEM members are asked to provide titles of the web-based applications and services in discussion until 29 February 2012.
Registration for 13th NEM General Assembly will be open until 12 March 2012.
